My Book Progress
Steven34.9%Welcome!
Hi, I’m Kristy, lover of God, family, friends, good books, and yummy food. I’m also on a quest to get in the best shape of my life. As a clean and wholesome/Christian romance author, I spend much of my days sitting at a desk. And we all know that a sedentary lifestyle isn’t conducive to good health. So it’s time to change all that. To start counteracting the side effects of too little activity, hypothyroidism, and gluten intolerance. Yeah, It’s time to get busy because I plan on living to be a happy, healthy, and energetic centenarian. I also plan on writing a lot more books! 🙂

Old sayings
Don’t you just love old sayings? Sometimes you wonder where in the world people came up with them, and sometimes you realize that whoever said ‘it’ first was an honest to goodness genius. Take, for instance, ‘Good judgment comes from … Continue reading
Just wondering
I finally finished the book I started twelve days ago. Usually it doesn’t take me that long, no matter how long the book is. In fact, I read the entire Twilight series in the week between Christmas and New Years … Continue reading
Monday was so long….
….that I woke up today thinking it was Wednesday. My first thought was, ‘Stupid holidays. Now I can’t get to the recycling center until Saturday.’ (small town, it’s only open two days a week) Fortunately I was wrong so I … Continue reading
So far, so bad on my Monday goals
Well, not completely bad given that it is a holiday. And I did the whole special- supper-that-is-a-lot-of-work thing (because women never get holidays off), made some bread, ran a couple of errands, and took care of some other business. I … Continue reading
Random thoughts
I’m sitting here having gotten too little sleep…again…yet instead of yawning (pardon me while I yawn-sorry, all I have to do is see the word), I’m feeling pretty darned good. For the third day in a row. Looks like treating … Continue reading
Well, I finally finished it
Yes, the trailer for Reluctant Guardian is up on YouTube. And I have a serious case of stage fright going on right now. Seriously. Videos are not my thing. Not where my talents lie. And frankly, I’m not sure I … Continue reading
And the lawn curse continues…
First it was the flood, that lasted so long I was beginning to worry that the government might declare the lawn a protected wetland. I mean really…who else do you know that has ever had algae growing in their driveway? … Continue reading
It was time for a makeover
No, not for me, although it’s kind of past time for that, too. However, since no one can guarantee that I’ll look like Sandra Bullock, with the same talent and personality, I guess I’m stuck with just being me. No, … Continue reading
Changes…
Tonight was a girls night out with my sister and one of my sister-in-laws. It was set up earlier in the week, with me acting as go-between, but we still hadn’t decided on a concrete course of action even after … Continue reading
HELP!!!!!!!
I need an MRI! I need a CT Scan! I need my head examined! Something is seriously wrong up there! So I got up this morning and I was really dragging. Thought I would be out the door by eleven, … Continue reading
