…to all of the men and women who serve in our military. Thank you so very much for the sacrifices you make to keep our country and its citizens safe.
If you enjoy the freedom our soldiers have fought for, take a moment this Memorial Day, to think about what they’ve done for us. Say a prayer the families of those who have given their lives, and for those who put their lives on the line…for us…every day. While we’re firing up the grills, and working in our yards, there are thousands who wish they could be doing the same thing.
Remember them today…
And just because this is so awesome…
We really are so lucky to live in such a great country, and we forget that we owe our freedom to those who serve to protect us.
I think it’s an out of sight, out of mind thing, Jenny. If we don’t ‘see’ them, we get busy and forget. I try not to, but life happens. But I am always, always grateful for what these brave men and women have done for us throughout the course of history. Always.
The second video – I used to do that stuff. I was never in the marine corp, but band and drill. The smoke on the jet was really cool. Nice tribute. 🙂
Thanks, Debra. I always wished I were talented enough to play an instrument and be in band but, alas, I couldn’t carry a tune in a bucket. I love that video. It brings tears to my eyes every time I see it. 🙂
