Thanks, Karen! And Robert Downey Jr. is so far beyond awesome that I don’t even think there’s a word for it, lol. I love that guy! I have both Sherlock Holmes and Iron Man movies…and am chomping at the bit for The Avengers to be released on DVD (saw it THREE times the week it came out in theaters). 🙂

Sorry about the delayed posting. My WordPress seems to be seriously messed up. Hopefully I’ll get it fixed…and figure out why scheduling it didn’t work. 🙁

Coolness! How fun. Don’t you hate that about titles? I kept my title to myself for that very reason and it was all good until this last year and someone used it. Bummer.

You just made my post for next week easy. Now to decide which story to write about. Any thoughts? Should I do the story I’m editing or the one I started writing?

Yes. I absolutely hate the headaches involved with titles. They’re hard enough to come up with in the first place…then to discover they’re already taken. I’m sorry you’ve lost yours, but I do understand how that goes.

I’m looking forward to your post. As to which one you should use…if I get to be a beta reader for the one you’re editing…do the other one. 🙂

“From every little girl’s dream to have a fairytale romance. Seriously, most little girls…and even some women…want to meet the Knight in Shining Armor, don’t they?”

Great, KK, thanks for sending out another message of expectation we guys can’t live up to. 🙂

Aren’t you all setting the bar a little high with the weaker species? Are we the ones from Mars or Venus – I can never remember. hehehe

Oh thank you for the laugh, MJ! I have it on good authority that men are NOT from Mars. There is no ESPN (that’s the sports channel, right?), no beer, and no porn on Mars, therefore, there are no men on Mars. 🙂

And you’re wrong. Most guys can be that knight. Not like the guys from a fairytale…but then I actually prefer that guys don’t wear tights, or cold metal suits.

As long as they really hear a woman (75.348% of the time), like to snuggle, know how to stop and ask for directions, and a a couple other things, they can all be that prince. 🙂

Thanks for the reminder – I need to watch some ESPN before college football season starts. 😉 Especially now that my Cornhuskers are in the Big 10, or whatever that midwest conference is now called.

I’m at about 65% on the listening scale, so I have another 10.348% to go, darn it! And yeah, I’m not into the tights so much. 🙂

I might watch ESPN someday. After I scrub both toilets with Barbie’s toothbrush, sweep all the cobwebs down, and take care of the 3/4 acre lawn with my nail clippers…

Good job on the listening…and yeah…Mikhail Baryshnikov is the only guy I’ve ever seen who managed to pull off the whole tights thing. Even Robin Hood should have gone for knickers or something. 🙂

How did I miss this? Ugh. Your scheduling feature, my brain. They both work only when they feel like it.

What fun learning about your book and process. I love that you’re writing a grown-up fairytale. Thanks for tagging me! I’ll have my post up tomorrow (8/20), to make your week 8 deadline.

Oops. I’m thinking I might have left a step out. Like MAYBE letting the people I tagged know… Um… Hmm. Not sure I’ve ever said this before but…my bad. 🙂

I’ll look forward to seeing your answers. 🙂
