I have been SO impressed with the way the countryside is looking this year. I don’t have time, but tomorrow my daughter and I are taking a couple of hours and heading back out again. There are some shots I really need to get…before the leaves start falling off the trees.

Lovely. I always thought Winter was my favourite season but I’m finding myself liking Autumn more this year.

Thanks, Emma. You sound like me. I’ve been a long-time winter lover, but it gets beat out most every year (for about three weeks) by the gorgeous fall colors. 🙂

Wow, you get some gorgeous colors in the fall. I’m so jealous! We get brown or green all year round. Mostly brown, and not a pretty, chocolatey brown either. Thanks for sharing your photo expedition with us. Please take more!

Sounds like our fall season last year, Tameri. It was so ‘blah’ that it was depressing. This is one of the reasons I love Michigan so much. And I’ll probably be sharing more pics on Monday. 🙂

By the way, what you just described sounds like this past winter, too. Hardly any snow…and just icky, brownish green grass. Yuck!

Leaves are just beginning to change here in southern Ontario. Love fall! Great pics.

Thanks, Lisa. I love fall, too. I’m afraid ours is going to be dying a quick death here soon though. We must have hit the peak because everything is so pretty. 🙂

I live just across the border from lower Michigan, so this looks like home to me 🙂

Great pics. Fall is the best time of year. Can’t beat the changing colors in the midwest and east.

It is the best time of year…followed by the ‘w’ season…as long as it comes with plenty of snow. I know. I said the ‘s’ word. Can’t help it. I’m jealous of all the states that are getting it already. Although I think the U.P. is getting it, too…but it’s still not falling here. 🙂

Please don’t use the ‘s’ word around me – it’s like swearing. hehehe

I had a colonel in the AF who, when asked where he was going to retire, replied by saying, “I’m going to put a snow plow on my pickup, drive far enough south where they ask me ‘What the ***k is that,’ and drive another 30 miles farther south.”

        I loved that answer! 😀

LOL…too funny. I hope I never get to that place though. There’s not much of anything I enjoy more than sitting by a window watching it snow. The only things that make it better is Christmas music in the background, some candles where I can see them (and the cats can’t get NEAR them), and a cup of hot cocoa in hand. 🙂

Oh you are mean. I LOVE Cream of Wheat. Unfortunately, it’s not gluten free. Of course I will have it one of these days. Unless the buckwheat (?) stuff I bought is a good substitute. Then again, I really like oatmeal, too. As long as it has brown sugar. 🙂
