I’m sure you’re wondering about the subject of my blog today. It actually has to do with procrastination.

~~~~~
So what does the number mean? That would be how many emails…from one email account…that I sent to the trash file over the past few days. That’s right – 6,584. And I still have 392 in my inbox…and 464 in folders. Plus I’ve deleted a few that have come in since I called it quits a few hours ago. So…
Take it from me. Don’t wait two years to start deleting. It winds up being quite a chore if you do.  🙂
Psst! Did you hear about my new secret group on Facebook? It’s so secret you won’t be able to find it no matter how hard you look. In fact, the only people who will find it are those who have subscribed to my newsletter (http://kristykjames.net/newsletter/), and who send me an email or Facebook message letting me know they’d like to join. That way I can send an email invitation.
Why a secret group? I thought it would be a fun place to just chat and get to know one another. Yes, I’m still a teenager at heart. I’ve always liked the secret clubhouse kind of thing. They always seemed so mysterious and exclusive.
Psst again. Did you know that you can get The Daddy Pact, Someday…Maybe, and The Romance Manifesto free at these fine online bookstores? Amazon.com, iTunes Bookstore, and Barnes & Noble. ***The Romance Manifesto is no longer available at Amazon.com.***
  1. Two years? Wow, that was some professional quality procrastination! I try to go through my email every day. If I don’t, I’ll have up to 500 emails waiting for me the next morning. I’m on way too many groups and loops. It’s overwhelming sometimes! That’s one of the reasons I love my iPhone. I can get through dozens of emails while waiting in line at the store, at the doctor, etc.
      I don’t know what I’d do if I had that many every day, Tameri. I’ve been unsubscribing to sites I never visit (but always PLAN to visit), and just generally keeping it under 400 right now. If I could just figure out what I wanted to do with the last 400… Sigh. I still have hopes of getting it all the way to zero. 🙂
      Hmmm about the phone. I can get into Gmail from my phone…when I’m not sending weird texts to unsuspecting people. 🙂
  2. Cute video. And no, I’m not procrastinating, I truly have nothing left to do on this Friday afternoon. I’m just waiting for 5:00 so I can head home.
    Thanks for sharing.
      But…Patricia…it’s fun to procrastinate sometimes. Of course being caught up enough so you can surf the web without an excuse is good, too. 🙂
