Hi, I’m Kristy, lover of God, family, friends, good books, and yummy food. I’m also on a quest to get in the best shape of my life. As a clean and wholesome/Christian romance author, I spend much of my days sitting at a desk. And we all know that a sedentary lifestyle isn’t conducive to good health. So it’s time to change all that. To start counteracting the side effects of too little activity, hypothyroidism, and gluten intolerance. Yeah, It’s time to get busy because I plan on living to be a happy, healthy, and energetic centenarian. I also plan on writing a lot more books! 🙂

It’s not very often that I can lie down and fall asleep right away. When I’m really sick, like I was for most of the past two weeks, I can…but that’s about the only time. When life is back to … Continue reading
Okay, so technically I’m awake … but just barely. As near as I can determine, I’ve had roughly eleven hours sleep out of the last seventy-two, and most of it has been thirty minutes here, two hours there (if I’m … Continue reading
A couple of things happened that prompted me to write this post tonight. Part of it probably due to the fact that I just haven’t felt good this week. A big part of it is that I need to find … Continue reading
I’m going to put most of it down to the fact that I haven’t felt good this week, including a 3-day headache. All I want to do is nap. In fact, I’ve taken more naps, and slept more than I … Continue reading
How many times have we looked back on something we’ve done – on our own, or with the encouragement of like-minded buddies – and realized something, or someone, had taken control of our brains? Aliens, a master hypnotist, weird virus, … Continue reading
…in like a lamb. Or vice versa. That’s what people usually say about March, and apparently it’s only month-specific and does not apply to years because with the ice storm, 2013 sure went out like a lion. And yesterday, two … Continue reading
