My Book Progress
Steven34.9%Welcome!
Hi, I’m Kristy, lover of God, family, friends, good books, and yummy food. I’m also on a quest to get in the best shape of my life. As a clean and wholesome/Christian romance author, I spend much of my days sitting at a desk. And we all know that a sedentary lifestyle isn’t conducive to good health. So it’s time to change all that. To start counteracting the side effects of too little activity, hypothyroidism, and gluten intolerance. Yeah, It’s time to get busy because I plan on living to be a happy, healthy, and energetic centenarian. I also plan on writing a lot more books! 🙂

Stepping Into Hot Water Yet Again
Before I even get started on this subject, let me be very clear – I tip waiters and waitresses about 20% of my bill – every time. I always have and always will. I’m generous with my hairdresser and pizza … Continue reading
Tonight’s Playlist
Sometimes I just really need some help getting into a romantic mood for writing and editing, and tonight is one of those nights. When that happens, I either have to find a movie – like My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend … or … Continue reading
World War Z
Anyone who knows me, knows I am a gutless wonder. The wrong movie trailer at the right moment will literally give me nightmares. And so I avoid scary movies and stories like the plague. Usually. But when I saw that … Continue reading
Why I Eat Gluten-Free
This afternoon, I found myself at another dinner where I got to watch all of the guests eat. A year ago, I’d have been embarrassed because it made others uncomfortable. Now it doesn’t bother me at all. Well, it does. … Continue reading
The Hard Goodbyes
My grandparents were blessed with eight children. After the birth of four girls – in a row – I wonder if Grandpa ever worried that there would be no sons to carry on the family name. It must have seemed … Continue reading
I Am So Blessed!
Like everyone else in the world, there are things in my life that make me unbearably sad, that scare me so much I can hardly breathe, that worry me so much I lose sleep. But you know what? I’m also … Continue reading
Sweetheart Sunday #6
Wow! 2014 is flying by! Can you believe this is my sixth Sweetheart Sunday post? I still have a long list of real life video proposals and other romantic moments, but I realized something this afternoon. There are some really … Continue reading
The Simplest Things…again
I’m pulling out a blog post from May 16, 2012. Even though it’s about a movie, it’s not really a review (though it’s a great movie). It’s more about what I learned while watching it, and what I try to … Continue reading
The Story of Luke
It was another Netflix night for me. As happens from time to time, I stumbled on another amazing move that most people have probably never heard of. I know I hadn’t before seeing it on their website. What drew me … Continue reading
Sweetheart Sunday #5
Life has been crazy this week! Between car repairs (requiring me to start my Mom’s Taxi Service back up), a graduation at the Wharton Center on the MSU campus (the super crowded, super noisy Wharton Center), a unexpected invitation to … Continue reading
