A Quick Question For My Readers

I’ve been pondering something for a while now. While I love Facebook, they have made it virtually impossible for authors to reach anyone when they write a post there. They prefer that we pay to advertise them and I’m just not going to do that. I’ve started running ads once a month or so and feel that should be enough.

So what to do, what to do?

The only solution I can come up with is to start a Facebook group for anyone who actually wants to chat with me and other readers. As you all know, I do enjoy our ‘conversations.’ My question then is this…

How many of you would be interested in joining a group where we can actually chat and get notifications for new posts? Please let me know in the comments section below.

Thanks!

Kristy

Love the idea! I belong to a handful already and it’s wonderful. I think the authors like that feedback and immediate connection as well.

      Hi, Korinna…
As I explained to Denise, between trying to finish a first draft and having to turn the blog over to Pen + Pixel for the remodel, I’m way behind in responses (couldn’t do anything here while the new site was being built). Anyway, the readers group is up and running. The link to join is Kristy K. James Reader’s Group (very creative, right? 😀 😀 😀 ) Totally NOT sure how this is going to show up in the comments because it’s really weird here.

    Kristy,

I think having a group where we can actually chat with others about our readings, ideas, etc. is a great idea! Sign me up! I’m ready.

      Hi, Denise…
Sorry for the delay in responding. I was so busy trying to get the first draft of my manuscript finished, I didn’t get back here before turning the site over to Pen + Pixel for the “remodel.” And then I couldn’t do anything here until they turned it back over to me late Tuesday/early Wednesday. But it was worth it (love what they did to it!!!).

You have joined the readers group, right?
