This has been a strange, busy, and kind of month. It started off with me writing the final chapter in Fin’s book (third and final in the Casteloria series), then trying to edit it while meeting the yearly NaNo goal (second in the Double M series), as well as tackling a major cobweb issue, and some painting. Let’s not even talk about Thanksgiving preparation.
The worst has been the whole Dagwood thing, and that’s still really hard. And so I do what I always do when I’m feeling really sad – I work my butt off, hence the painting, cobwebs, and some major editing sessions.
I’m also tentatively planning what I want to write next year, since it’s just around the corner. Once Fin is released around mid-December, I’ll be doing some more organized planning and plotting, but right now this is a list of what I’d like to do:
Coach’s Boys prequel
Enza prequel
2-3 Double M installments
and a new series
A new series? Yup. It might not appeal to all of you, but if you’ve read A Fine Mess and Enza, it should come as no surprise to find that it will be a Christian series. I’m still working out the details but I know it will star a sexy, kind of vagabond preacher. In my mind, I see him as Eduardo Verástegui. Click his name and let me know what you think? I’d post the picture here, but might run into some copyright issues, so the link is the best I can do right now. I’m thinking the website is kind of old because there’s no way this guy is forty-one in this picture.
So… The actual goal, at this time? Four novels and a couple of novellas for 2016. Wish me luck!
Good luck, Kristy.
Thanks, Emma. I’m probably going to need it. 😀
