My Book Progress
Steven34.9%Welcome!
Hi, I’m Kristy, lover of God, family, friends, good books, and yummy food. I’m also on a quest to get in the best shape of my life. As a clean and wholesome/Christian romance author, I spend much of my days sitting at a desk. And we all know that a sedentary lifestyle isn’t conducive to good health. So it’s time to change all that. To start counteracting the side effects of too little activity, hypothyroidism, and gluten intolerance. Yeah, It’s time to get busy because I plan on living to be a happy, healthy, and energetic centenarian. I also plan on writing a lot more books! 🙂

What If We All Said … Enough!
Yesterday, I was looking for a white, lightweight over-blouse kind of top. I wanted it to wear with my pretty yellow tee shirt for my family reunion today. But do you think I could find one? Nope. Because even though … Continue reading
I’m In The Doghouse
It’s true. My taste buds have pretty much disowned me today. They’ve disliked me intensely for much of the past fourteen months anyway, but that’s mostly because I’ve tortured them with icky gluten-free foods. We’d just gotten to the place … Continue reading
I Always Said I’d Never Do This…
…and even as I start to write this post, I’m still on the fence about actually publishing it. Why? Because it’s about book reviews. Except for a brief, no-pressure request for an honest review at the end of my books, … Continue reading
10 Things I Love About Summer…
Stop laughing and pick your chin up off the floor please. By now, most of you know that summer is not my favorite season. The first day it hits 80 degrees and is even a little humid, I start my … Continue reading
The Worst Birthday … Ever!
My mom was having a big birthday party for me! Including a genuine, honest-to-goodness bakery cake! In our family that was quite a treat because all birthday cakes began with Betty Crocker, and ended with some yucky decorating frosting that … Continue reading
Energy Rocks!
I’ve shared some of my struggles with hypothyroidism here, but have kept quiet about exactly how bad it’s been for the past eight months or so. It shows in the poor quality blogs I’ve been putting out, my disappearances from … Continue reading
From My Cabin In The Middle Of Camp NaNo…
Oh wait. Did I forget to mention that I’m at camp this month? Yeah. I’m sharing a cabin with Karen Pokras and Catherine Stine on the grounds of the beautiful Camp NaNoWriMo. How do you like my room? And what about … Continue reading
Happy Anniversary To Me!
Three years ago today, I published my first book. Well, since I’d already written them, I also published my second and third ones too. A Fine Mess is the only one with its original cover. I tried a new one … Continue reading
And I Thought I Was Excited A Few Days Ago!
I’m about to jump for joy – again! The Midlist is going to be featuring Enza in their newsletter today! What’s so great about that? They only feature books that they feel have bestseller potential. ~~~~~ And they think Enza has … Continue reading
Dear Kristy…
I read something this afternoon about what would you say to your younger self. It reminded me of a scene in one of my favorite movies, The Kid, where Russ asks Dierdre what she would say to her younger self. … Continue reading
