Hi, I’m Kristy, lover of God, family, friends, good books, and yummy food. I’m also on a quest to get in the best shape of my life. As a clean and wholesome/Christian romance author, I spend much of my days sitting at a desk. And we all know that a sedentary lifestyle isn’t conducive to good health. So it’s time to change all that. To start counteracting the side effects of too little activity, hypothyroidism, and gluten intolerance. Yeah, It’s time to get busy because I plan on living to be a happy, healthy, and energetic centenarian. I also plan on writing a lot more books! 🙂

Earlier this week, my uncle posted something on Facebook for an event called Shawhaven Farms Holiday Lights. Their website says they have more than 40,000. They actually have around 65,000 and let me tell you, it’s awesome! My daughter and … Continue reading →

Last night, for the first time since I was fifteen, I went to a high school football game. The actual temperature was around twenty-seven degrees, but the windchill hovered near twenty. Knowing it was going to be really cold, like … Continue reading →
Between the toilet I saw in the tree and new issues with my formerly cursed septic system (that went through a recent exorcism but still believes itself to be cursed), it’s been a weird two and a half weeks. And … Continue reading →
I’m not sure why I didn’t post this when I wrote it in July, but I just found it today – and it’s just as much fun to think about now as it was then. Must be kind of a … Continue reading →
