Hi, I’m Kristy, lover of God, family, friends, good books, and yummy food. I’m also on a quest to get in the best shape of my life. As a clean and wholesome/Christian romance author, I spend much of my days sitting at a desk. And we all know that a sedentary lifestyle isn’t conducive to good health. So it’s time to change all that. To start counteracting the side effects of too little activity, hypothyroidism, and gluten intolerance. Yeah, It’s time to get busy because I plan on living to be a happy, healthy, and energetic centenarian. I also plan on writing a lot more books! 🙂

So… That crisis thing I kind of told you about last month, the one that I thought was almost over… Well not so much. It got worse, and then it got a little worse than that, and now the patient … Continue reading
So this will make what? Four out of seven days? Clearly, my plans to blog thirty days in a row isn’t going to happen. In my defense, my entire schedule has been thrown out of whack by a hospitalized relative, … Continue reading
Nothing motivates me much more than music. And since I still haven’t baked that spaghetti squash or made the meatballs, and I still don’t want to, I need something I can take to the kitchen with me. My computer isn’t … Continue reading
Sometimes things are just ‘smile’ funny. Some are worth a short giggle or two. But then there are the things that you just know are going to have you laughing yourself to sleep every now and again for the rest … Continue reading
I have more notebooks than any ‘normal’ person needs or wants. No, I’m not a collector but I usually don’t remember to stick one in my purse to jot notes on, should the need arise. Unfortunately, that need arises on … Continue reading
Today is the seventh anniversary of my first Kristy K. James blog post, An Interesting Evening. While I could find the humor in what happened then, it’s a lot funnier today. Reading through it, I had to laugh. I thought … Continue reading
This video is cute but I have to say it’s pretty much the same in Michigan. I’ve always considered myself an introvert. I need quiet time – and lots of it. I avoid phones like the plague. Too much noise, … Continue reading
