My Book Progress
Steven34.9%Welcome!
Hi, I’m Kristy, lover of God, family, friends, good books, and yummy food. I’m also on a quest to get in the best shape of my life. As a clean and wholesome/Christian romance author, I spend much of my days sitting at a desk. And we all know that a sedentary lifestyle isn’t conducive to good health. So it’s time to change all that. To start counteracting the side effects of too little activity, hypothyroidism, and gluten intolerance. Yeah, It’s time to get busy because I plan on living to be a happy, healthy, and energetic centenarian. I also plan on writing a lot more books! 🙂

Kristy’s Reviews, week 1
If you’ve ever had a thing for time-travel stories, especially when it involves romance, The Lake House (2006), might be just the movie for you. What makes this film unique is that it’s not the people who move through time. … Continue reading
Song of the Week, 1
This is, without question, one of my favorite songs, so it’s not surprising I’ve got it on my most used playlist. It’s actually on there more than once, but I won’t admit exactly how many times… Anyway, I think it’s … Continue reading
Story Time Shorts, A Country Love Story
For those of you who didn’t see the Story Time Shorts request by ‘Lynner’ last week, here it is: I love it! I suggest a romantic story about country singers. Who knows what goes on in those gigantic tour buses … Continue reading
Nolan’s Cover … and a Mini-Rant
Okay, so maybe it’s not so much a rant as it is an … well I don’t know what to call it exactly. I’m kind of a live and let live person. We’re all different, and that’s okay. It’s part … Continue reading
I Have Nolan’s Cover!
And I just wanted to let everyone know that I just sent it out in the current newsletter – along with the latest installment of the Newsletter Novella. If you’d like an early look at it, you can sign up … Continue reading
A Mini-Vacation Marathon/Hair Disaster
My daughter and I like to take off for mini-vacations every now and again, and this time we decided to spend a couple of nights in Holland Michigan. It’s near Lake Michigan, which you all know by now I love. … Continue reading
An ADD Kind of Day
I know people think I’m joking when I say I think I’ve developed Adult Onset ADD. I’m not even sure there is such a thing, but if there is, I have it. Today is a perfect example of why I … Continue reading
What If We All Said … Enough!
Yesterday, I was looking for a white, lightweight over-blouse kind of top. I wanted it to wear with my pretty yellow tee shirt for my family reunion today. But do you think I could find one? Nope. Because even though … Continue reading
I’m In The Doghouse
It’s true. My taste buds have pretty much disowned me today. They’ve disliked me intensely for much of the past fourteen months anyway, but that’s mostly because I’ve tortured them with icky gluten-free foods. We’d just gotten to the place … Continue reading
I Always Said I’d Never Do This…
…and even as I start to write this post, I’m still on the fence about actually publishing it. Why? Because it’s about book reviews. Except for a brief, no-pressure request for an honest review at the end of my books, … Continue reading
