My Book Progress
Steven34.9%Welcome!
Hi, I’m Kristy, lover of God, family, friends, good books, and yummy food. I’m also on a quest to get in the best shape of my life. As a clean and wholesome/Christian romance author, I spend much of my days sitting at a desk. And we all know that a sedentary lifestyle isn’t conducive to good health. So it’s time to change all that. To start counteracting the side effects of too little activity, hypothyroidism, and gluten intolerance. Yeah, It’s time to get busy because I plan on living to be a happy, healthy, and energetic centenarian. I also plan on writing a lot more books! 🙂

Sunday Sweethearts #3
It’s a little later than I planned on getting this out today, so any smugness I felt over learning how to schedule posts has been cast aside (until I figure out how to make it work every time). First, I’d … Continue reading
Saving Mr. Banks
I had hoped to see Saving Mr. Banks at our local theater, but by the time it came to town, I was so sick I didn’t really care. I also didn’t want to share what I’d come down with, but … Continue reading
Sunday Sweethearts #2
Love and romance, and proposals and weddings… There isn’t much in life that makes us happier, is there? But sometimes, the best moments in our lives are tinged with sadness because we can’t share them with some of the people … Continue reading
Another Cover Reveal
While I’d hoped to have it ready a little sooner than this, my first Newsletter Novella, Holding On To Yesterday, will be released early this coming week, so I thought I’d share the cover with you today. ~~~ While editing, … Continue reading
Like A Kid In A Candy Store
A few weeks ago, a friend sent me a photo of a gluten-free pizza they’d just pulled out of the oven. I spent too long gazing at it, my mouth watering, because it looked like a real pizza should. Much … Continue reading
Another GREAT Movie!
Sometimes I just need to relax and not think. I’ve had about thirteen hours sleep since I woke up Sunday morning. Wednesday was a very unproductive day, and now that it’s early Thursday morning, I’m hoping when I finally do … Continue reading
My Writing Process (Diana Made Me Do It!)
When friend and fellow author, Diana Beebe, asked me if I wanted to be a part of the “My Writing Process – Blog Tour,” I said yes! Like her, I love what I do. In fact, I couldn’t ask for … Continue reading
Whose Opinions Matter?
Looking through drafts I’d forgotten about, I found this one. Started late last August, it’s still relevant today, so I figured I might as well finish it. It never ceases to amaze me how many people in the world feel … Continue reading
My Son Cracks Me Up!
I can always count on C.J. asking me – at least once a day, “So, Mom. How are your books coming along.” He really is interested … as long as I don’t go into a whole lot of detail. While … Continue reading
Heart and Souls
I’ve spent most of the past twenty-four hours or so sleeping. Much as I wanted to keep editing my current work-in-progress, a 102 degree fever changed my plans. I finally took some Advil around three o’clock … and woke up … Continue reading
