Hi, I’m Kristy, lover of God, family, friends, good books, and yummy food. I’m also on a quest to get in the best shape of my life. As a clean and wholesome/Christian romance author, I spend much of my days sitting at a desk. And we all know that a sedentary lifestyle isn’t conducive to good health. So it’s time to change all that. To start counteracting the side effects of too little activity, hypothyroidism, and gluten intolerance. Yeah, It’s time to get busy because I plan on living to be a happy, healthy, and energetic centenarian. I also plan on writing a lot more books! 🙂

I would sure like to know how other writers handle everything. Not only has Murphy (from Murphy’s Law fame) become a close and personal friend of mine since the first of the year, I seem to be turning into the … Continue reading
Trying to adjust to a new schedule, however temporary, is not something I’m good at. Most days, unless I look at my computer calendar, I couldn’t tell you if it was Monday or Friday. And I often have to ask … Continue reading
…that’s just not right,” is my new favorite saying. Yeah, I know. It’s fairly well established that I’m weird. I can live with it. But what brought this to mind tonight is that I hit the four week mark on … Continue reading
I’m going back to underachieving. It didn’t take long after adding the new items to my goal list for life to show me that it is still in charge, and more than capable of wreaking havoc. After getting hit hard … Continue reading
I was so on track last week, finishing the first draft of my manuscript that this week has been a letdown. Thanks to someone sharing their cold, and too little sleep because of it, I haven’t really worked on anything … Continue reading
I really thought I’d be jumping for joy, shouting and laughing and bouncing off the walls when this day finally rolled around. Yes, I finished the first draft of my manuscript. Just a little bit ago as a matter of … Continue reading
