The Coach's Boys Series
When I first started writing The Daddy Pact, I'd thought it would be a standalone story. I thought the same thing when I wrote A Hero For Holly. But then I read a series by Debbie Macomber and knew I wanted to write one, too. I just loved the fact that I wouldn't have to say goodbye to characters I'd grown to love when the story was finished. That I could hold on to them for a while longer if I could just come up with a few more books.
So I put my thinking cap on and before too much time passed, the Coach's Boys were born, and Jon, Cal, and Chris joined Dan and Sam. Even better, Detective Ed Winslow didn't disappear after the first scene, and I couldn't have been happier. I had liked him from the start, but he's quickly become a series favorite, and I've had many requests to give him his own story. And it's looking like that may happen...after I finish the next two installments.

About the Author
Kristy K. James' first goal in life was to work in law enforcement, until the night she called the police to check out a scary noise in her yard. Realizing that she might someday have to investigate scary noises in yards just as dark as hers if she continued on that path, she turned to her other favorite love...writing. Since then her days have been filled with being a mom and reluctant zookeeper (7 pets), creating stories, and looking for trouble in her kitchen.
