My Book Progress
Steven34.9%Welcome!
Hi, I’m Kristy, lover of God, family, friends, good books, and yummy food. I’m also on a quest to get in the best shape of my life. As a clean and wholesome/Christian romance author, I spend much of my days sitting at a desk. And we all know that a sedentary lifestyle isn’t conducive to good health. So it’s time to change all that. To start counteracting the side effects of too little activity, hypothyroidism, and gluten intolerance. Yeah, It’s time to get busy because I plan on living to be a happy, healthy, and energetic centenarian. I also plan on writing a lot more books! 🙂

“How I spent my weekend”
I started a project on Friday. It seemed like a pretty straightforward task, though not a particularly easy one. Rearrange and organize my office. Then tear out the icky beige carpet, exposing tile that should never have been covered in … Continue reading
Misadventures In Home Ownership, Part 1

Misadventures in homeownership, part 2
She was a big help there. Somewhere in the yard was a septic tank. And on the top of the tank was a lid. A lid that we’d have to find, expose and remove. Yeah right. Like that information was in the reams of … Continue reading
Misadventures in Home ownership, part 3
I quickly called the second cleaning service back to let them know they could come anytime. Uh-huh. Given it was now late afternoon, we’d have to wait until the next morning, sometime before noon. And it would only cost another … Continue reading
Something I did awhile back
Back in the day, when my kids were little, I belonged to a writer’s group. In fact, I was voted president the second year, amazingly enough. One fun assignment was to take a classic story and rewrite it. This is … Continue reading

This has been quite a month! Between trying to figure out the whole website design world, life in the ‘real’ world, and editing manuscripts for digital readers, my head is spinning. Tomorrow I’m meeting with a graphic designer to help … Continue reading
An interesting evening…
Since I’m not really sure what an author is supposed to ‘blog’ about, I’m just going to write about ‘whatever.’ And tonight that ‘whatever’ will be yet another installment in my continuing trials with a septic tank system. If I … Continue reading
