Welcome!
Hi, I’m Kristy, lover of God, family, friends, good books, and yummy food. I’m also on a quest to get in the best shape of my life. As a clean and wholesome/Christian romance author, I spend much of my days sitting at a desk. And we all know that a sedentary lifestyle isn’t conducive to good health. So it’s time to change all that. To start counteracting the side effects of too little activity, hypothyroidism, and gluten intolerance. Yeah, It’s time to get busy because I plan on living to be a happy, healthy, and energetic centenarian. I also plan on writing a lot more books! 🙂

The Bundles & Other Stuff
Hey, everyone. Editing isn’t going quite as quick as I’d like, but I’m still in hopes of having something new out before the end of the year. That doesn’t include the two bundles I told you about in my last … Continue reading
Update … and a Renewed Focus
If I had to chose a famous quote that would describe me (and my life) – on a consistent basis – it would be, “The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry.” It’s a translation from a … Continue reading

Hey, everyone… I apologize! I sent a newsletter with links for the Free Starter Library (The Daddy Pact and A Prince on the Run), as well as letting everyone know that the Coach’s Boys and Royal Sweethearts series’ are no … Continue reading
Scars
Everyone has them. Some are very visible. Some can only be found with things like x-rays or CT scans. Some though, remain hidden no matter how hard you might look for them. Even a full body MRI scan wouldn’t be … Continue reading
A Cancer Survivor
Normally, it’s a miracle if I make two posts in a month, but here I am, working on my second post of the day. For some reason though, I just feel like I need to do this one too. Some … Continue reading
If Wishes Were Horses…
…beggars would ride. I don’t know why that old saying came to mind when thinking about a title for this post. Maybe because I wish I’d remembered to follow through with my plans to post a couple of times a … Continue reading
Missed 9th Anniversary – and a Quick Update
I’ve missed my blogging anniversary more than once. Maybe even several times, but usually not by more than a day or few. This time, it was by almost a month! Of course, we all know I had other things on … Continue reading
Shelter at Home…
Before all this COVID-19 business started, I’d have said I was a homebody. And I’d have meant it too. I could easily stay home for a week or ten days and been totally okay with it. But I’ve never been … Continue reading
A Quick Update – and a Sneak Peek
So… The surgeon wanted me to have a CT scan last week. With oral (yuck!) and IV (ouch! – not really, surprisingly, it wasn’t that bad) contrast. I worried from then until yesterday because the last surgical drain keeps putting … Continue reading
Updates and Some News
So… I mentioned, a post or two ago, that I’d have some news some might love – but others would not. And I’ll get to that in a minute. First, the updates. The 2019 National Novel Writing Month kicks off … Continue reading
