It feels like it’s taken forever for this day to arrive…but Enza is finally here. And to celebrate, there are some special things planned. Stormi, over at Lightning Book Promotions, has scheduled daily stops at blogs around the cyber world. Not only that, but there are going to be prizes! Yes, you read that correctly. You’ll have to visit each blog on their scheduled days for details, but there will be gift cards, and digital and paperback copies of Enza to be won.
First I want to wish a very Happy 29th Birthday to Breeana Puttroff (author of one of my favorite series, The Dusk Gate Chronicles). I am pleased to share my birthday month with both her and Debra Kristi.
Release Day Party Details…

Congrats on the release! I almost missed this among the other things going on in the Facebook group, so I’m extra thankful for Diane’s mentioning it again and for Triberr bringing the posts right to me 🙂
Thanks, Marcy! I know how it goes. It seems like I’ve missed so much the past few months (as a side note, if I haven’t mentioned it before…I do NOT enjoy editing, editing and MORE editing!). Hopefully I’ll start getting back to my pre-finish Enza schedule soon.
And everyone in the group is great. Thanks again, Diane! 🙂

Awesome! I am so happy for you. Doing the celebration dance. 🙂
Thanks, Debra! I know you are. 🙂
I may do a little dancing myself….after I catch up on some of the sleep I’ve missed the past couple of nights. 🙂
Congrats on the release, Kristy! Definitely checkong this out, as it’s in a setting I love (both time and place)!
Thanks, Jennette! That era is also one of my favorite times in history. 🙂
Congrats Kristy! Super exciting–I wish you the best! 🙂
Thanks, Coleen! It really is exciting. 🙂

Good luck Kristy.
Thanks so much, Emma. 🙂
Congratulations, Kristy!!! How exciting!!!!
Thanks, Diane! It is very exciting. So much so that I stayed up WAY too late. But it was worth it. 🙂
I loved the book!
What inspired you to title the book as you did?
Hi, LC, it’s nice to meet you. I’m so glad you enjoyed the book. 🙂
I chose the title because of a poem in the documentary that inspired me to write the book. ‘I had a little bird, it’s name was Enza. I opened the window, and in-flew-Enza.’
The cover is beautiful, the story awesome!
What was it that made you title the book Enza?
Thanks again, LC. WP misdirected this comment and I just found it. 🙂
Congratulations Kristi!!! Just picked up a copy for my KIndle & I can’t wait to read it 🙂 Love your new pic too! (ps – Happy Birthday Breeanna!)
Thanks, Karen! On both counts. I hope you enjoy Enza. 🙂
Kristy I will look forward to reading all the reviews of Enza. I know how much you research your facts from reading your other books. I’m sure your hard work, excellent writing and detailed research will enhance the enjoyment of this book even more than the other books that you’ve written. It might even replace ‘Reluctant Guardian’ as my favorite. Congratulations on this monumental accomplishment. 🙂
Thanks, Jaki! I’m looking forward to them, too. I know that not everyone will like Enza, but I still want to read them all. 🙂
And wow…it might replace Reluctant Guardian, huh? I hope someone has some smelling salts handy because I may faint. 🙂
Yay! So excited for you, Kristy! I can’t wait to read all of the reviews of Enza! 🙂 And thanks for the birthday wishes. I like 29. I think I shall stay 29 at least until I am 42 and know the answer to life, the universe, and everything. 🙂 And then I will stay 42. 😉
Thank you very much, Breeana! I’m looking forward to reading them, too. And I like the way you think. Forty-two is a great age to stay at for a few decades. 🙂
By the way, when you find out those answers, send me a cheat sheet, okay? 🙂
Breeanna Hate to bust your bubble but at 42 you will not have all the answers, in fact you will begin to realize that much of what you thought you knew isn’t correct.:) There! That’s what you get for ending your book much too soon! By the way I loved it and will be reading the others in the series soon. From your 15 year old friend with almost 62 years of experience. 🙂
LOL. The 42 thing is a writerly joke that references Douglas Adams’ The Hitchhikers’ Guide to the Galaxy. 🙂 The protagonist learns that 42 is the answer to life, the universe, and everything … but he never discovers what the question is. 🙂
I’m so glad you enjoyed my book … thank you so much for the compliment!
That’s a whirlwind blog tour you’ve got lined up, Kristy. Don’t forget to pause to catch your breath now and then! (You know, in between partying you patootie off.) Good luck!
It sure is, isn’t it? But I’m excited. So far the feedback I’ve gotten has been really good. As for the partying…lol…I think that may come in the form of some spring cleaning. I do know how to have a good time, don’t I? 🙂
