Hi, I’m Kristy, lover of God, family, friends, good books, and yummy food. I’m also on a quest to get in the best shape of my life. As a clean and wholesome/Christian romance author, I spend much of my days sitting at a desk. And we all know that a sedentary lifestyle isn’t conducive to good health. So it’s time to change all that. To start counteracting the side effects of too little activity, hypothyroidism, and gluten intolerance. Yeah, It’s time to get busy because I plan on living to be a happy, healthy, and energetic centenarian. I also plan on writing a lot more books! 🙂

It was kind another lazy kind of day around my house. The kind where you know you should be productive…and you kind of are…but you’re kind of not, too. When this happens, it usually sends me to Netflix to see … Continue reading →
They Might Celebrate Boxing Day Across the Pond…
…but right here in Michigan, I celebrate ‘boxing season.’ Nope, it’s not about the guys who don gloves and beat one another half to death. It’s about…boxes. Lots and lots of boxes. Boxes in all shapes and sizes. And this … Continue reading →
Exciting Gluten-Free Discovery
There is only one place in the town I usually shop in where I can get a halfway decent gluten-free pizza (and cheese bread). They’re very pricey at roughly $12.00 … before adding toppings … for a 10-inch, very thin … Continue reading →
Crying Sucks

Tonight’s Song List
I’ve admitted this to a number of people, but I’m finding the fourth book in my Coach’s Boys series to be quite a challenge to write. I want to blame it all on hitting a wall with thyroid issues a … Continue reading →
Finally Watched The Host
Wow. I seriously lose track of time. When I rented the movie tonight, I was thinking it had only been a couple of months since I’d read the novel. Boy was I a little off. A quick check in my … Continue reading →
The Nation Came Together on 9/11…
…but is being torn apart by political differences of opinion today. While the tragedy still haunts me, I do miss the sense of unity we seemed to feel for a couple of years afterward. We need to remember how quickly … Continue reading →
Gluten-Free Food Fest
I know there are a zillion sites on the internet dealing with gluten-free food intolerance, Celiac disease, wheat allergies, and more. There are probably a similar number of sites with recipes and advice to help us learn to live with … Continue reading →
