My Book Progress
Steven34.9%Welcome!
Hi, I’m Kristy, lover of God, family, friends, good books, and yummy food. I’m also on a quest to get in the best shape of my life. As a clean and wholesome/Christian romance author, I spend much of my days sitting at a desk. And we all know that a sedentary lifestyle isn’t conducive to good health. So it’s time to change all that. To start counteracting the side effects of too little activity, hypothyroidism, and gluten intolerance. Yeah, It’s time to get busy because I plan on living to be a happy, healthy, and energetic centenarian. I also plan on writing a lot more books! 🙂

Heartbleed Internet Bug
Might want to start changing your passwords. Mashable is calling the Heartbleed Bug “one of the biggest security threats the Internet has ever seen.” Affected sites I’m aware of at this point are: Yahoo, Gmail, Netflix, Smashwords, DropBox (which seriously … Continue reading
Shop Around, Test Drive, Or Buy?
Bet you think I’m going to be talking about vehicles, don’t you? Well I’m not, because the whole shopping, trying, and buying cycle works for most everything in our lives. Take books, for example. You wander around brick and mortar … Continue reading
Breed-Specific Laws
You all know by now that I love Jack, the giant pit bull. If you haven’t read my post, The Day Thor Came To Visit, you won’t understand that reference. ~~~ It’s because of him that I try so hard to … Continue reading
So Excited For a Fellow Author!
I’ve known Karen Pokras for close to three years now, and she is – without question – one of my favorite people. I’ve read several of her children’s books, including at least one Nate Rocks and Millicent Marie is Not … Continue reading
Recycling Again
Every now and again, I recycle posts from the early days of blogging. Since maybe three people read them back then, it’s almost like posting a new one when I put an old one up. So here’s one from July … Continue reading
283 Days Until Christmas
That’s right, folks. I keep thinking of this as the new year, but in less than four minutes, eighty-two days will have passed since the famous Times Square Ball Drop rang in 2014. March is almost over… Where has the … Continue reading
Sneak Peek At The New Book
I guess technically this isn’t a new book. It’s the one I wrote during the 2012 NaNoWriMo, otherwise known as National Novel Writing Month. Except it’s actually a worldwide writing challenge. Fifty-thousand words during the month of November. Thirty days. … Continue reading
If You’ve Ever Wondered What the ‘K’ Stands For…
…wonder no longer. Apparently my father loved the name Kristy Kay, so that’s what my parents named me. And for a long time, I hated it. Hated my middle name. Hated the way they spelled my first name. In fact, … Continue reading
Gluten-Free Sucks is Live!
There are so many ways to deal with anger and insults that it would probably take me a month of Sundays to list them all. Fortunately, I have one choice that most people do not. I can send people to … Continue reading
Cover Reveal Time
I’ll start right off by saying this isn’t a romance novel. In fact, it’s not a novel at all. It’s a novelette I’m going to be offering for free, hopefully in the next week or two. It’s about a subject … Continue reading
