My Book Progress
Steven34.9%Welcome!
Hi, I’m Kristy, lover of God, family, friends, good books, and yummy food. I’m also on a quest to get in the best shape of my life. As a clean and wholesome/Christian romance author, I spend much of my days sitting at a desk. And we all know that a sedentary lifestyle isn’t conducive to good health. So it’s time to change all that. To start counteracting the side effects of too little activity, hypothyroidism, and gluten intolerance. Yeah, It’s time to get busy because I plan on living to be a happy, healthy, and energetic centenarian. I also plan on writing a lot more books! 🙂

What If We All Just Stopped Hating?
I used to find reading comments on articles and social media posts a great (and often amusing) way to waste time, procrastinate, or simply to satisfy my curiosity because I had to know what people were going to say about … Continue reading
It’s Time
There have been a few moments in my life when I’ve come to the realization that if I don’t do something ‘now,’ I’m going to regret it. Moments when I knew I needed to step up to the plate, dig my … Continue reading

Anyone who’s followed me for any length of time might have heard me mention that I’d love to figure out how to work on two books at a time. Why? Because when I get stuck on one story, I could … Continue reading
Alone In a Cabin With Two Strange Men – For a Month
Yup. For the second July in a row, I’m going to be spending the entire month of July holed up in a small cabin with two men I’ve never met in person before. Sounds like the plot for an R-rated … Continue reading
Some Exciting News!
Those of you who have liked my Facebook page, or who get my newsletter, know I was sick for most of a month. Half of May and half of June with a summer cold that kind of went away … … Continue reading
What a Difference You’ve Made in My Life
On this, the eve of my fifth anniversary on this crazy rollercoaster ride that is indie writing, I feel like I should reflect on what I’ve learned. Not so much about writing because I’ve been doing that since I was … Continue reading
Sooooo Excited!
A few minutes ago, I approved the audible versions of The Daddy Pact and Laying Low in Paradise! They will be available on iTunes, Audible, and Amazon sometime in the next two weeks. Even better? The production schedule means the … Continue reading
#FirstLineFriday (a day late)
Why am I publishing a ‘Friday’ post on Saturday, you might be asking? Well … to put it simply, my old computer was dying. I spent most of the week in safe mode rescuing nearly 20 gigabytes of files and … Continue reading
11 Cool Uses For Puppy Pads
Maybe it’s my writer’s brain that causes me to look at some things differently than most people would. I know it’s that tendency that forces me to be diligent about not letting some things clutter up my house – like … Continue reading
