My Book Progress
Steven34.9%Welcome!
Hi, I’m Kristy, lover of God, family, friends, good books, and yummy food. I’m also on a quest to get in the best shape of my life. As a clean and wholesome/Christian romance author, I spend much of my days sitting at a desk. And we all know that a sedentary lifestyle isn’t conducive to good health. So it’s time to change all that. To start counteracting the side effects of too little activity, hypothyroidism, and gluten intolerance. Yeah, It’s time to get busy because I plan on living to be a happy, healthy, and energetic centenarian. I also plan on writing a lot more books! 🙂

Music To Set a Mood
I’ll admit that sometimes writing a book is like trying to climb a smooth, flat glass wall…with Crisco smeared all over your hands and feet. When that happens, I find inspiration in listening to music – lots of music – … Continue reading
Happy Birthday, Kerry
I was going to try and let July 28th slide right by this year. Pretend it wasn’t coming up, ignore it, keep busy…but it’s not working. Every time I turn around I see 333 on a clock, or in a … Continue reading
Should Authors Be Politically Correct?
I was chatting with someone tonight, and it brought to mind a post I’d written at some point…but never posted. It was a surprise to find that it’s been sitting in my drafts folder since March 31st, but here it … Continue reading
New Covers…and a Repeat
I was very honored to receive an email from Mark Coker, founder of Smashwords, a couple of days ago. He told me that the second book in my Coach’s Boys series had been doing very well for the past couple … Continue reading
A Case of the Giggles
I often post twice in two days. Sometimes I’m lucky if I post once a week, but this memory is too cute not to share. Of course I’ve had about nine and a half hours sleep since Wednesday, so what … Continue reading
A ‘Moth’ Asked Me To Dance
I’m just going to copy and paste my status update from last night in order to explain the title of this post: LOL…talk about a near freak out just now! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been sitting … Continue reading
I Have to Share a Recipe!
Not everyone knows this. In fact I suspect that not too many people do, but I loved Chi-chi’s restaurants. And even though they’ve been gone about nine years, I still crave my favorites…dishes I can’t get anywhere else. So… I … Continue reading

I’m sure you’re wondering about the subject of my blog today. It actually has to do with procrastination. ~~~~~ So what does the number mean? That would be how many emails…from one email account…that I sent to the trash file … Continue reading
The Mirror of Your Life (from 11/11/11)
As I was reading through some of my older posts, I found one I’d written after reading an article by Tim L. O’Brien. He was reflecting about his life as he was about to celebrate his fiftieth birthday. It touched … Continue reading
