My Book Progress
Steven34.9%Welcome!
Hi, I’m Kristy, lover of God, family, friends, good books, and yummy food. I’m also on a quest to get in the best shape of my life. As a clean and wholesome/Christian romance author, I spend much of my days sitting at a desk. And we all know that a sedentary lifestyle isn’t conducive to good health. So it’s time to change all that. To start counteracting the side effects of too little activity, hypothyroidism, and gluten intolerance. Yeah, It’s time to get busy because I plan on living to be a happy, healthy, and energetic centenarian. I also plan on writing a lot more books! 🙂

First Sleep, Second Sleep
Sounds like the beginning of a nursery rhyme, doesn’t it? Any panda is cute, but a sleeping panda is really cute! Okay, back on topic. According to an in-depth study by Roger Ekirch, an historian at Virgina Tech, first sleeps … Continue reading

One Great Way To Kill Your Relationship
Consideration is romantic. ~~~ Really. It is. It’s one of the reasons your Romeo or Juliet fell in love you with in the beginning. You showed him or her consideration and respect. You were thoughtful and considered your words and … Continue reading
Chocolate Heaven!
I used to love Betty Crocker Warm Delights, specifically, the Molten Chocolate Cake. Actually, I still do. I just can’t have them anymore. You mix a little water with the cake batter in the little bowl, squeeze the packet of … Continue reading
Puppy Alarms
Between telemarketing calls, an appointment reminder call at 9:57 a.m. (even though I keep telling them not to call before 2:00 p.m.), and a couple of puppies who have decided that they don’t like it when I sleep anymore than … Continue reading
Proper Etiquette When You Have a Cold – again
I first posted this on January 11, 2012 and now seems like a good time to remind people of some ways to prevent the spread of this year’s flu bugs… Okay, we’ve already discussed my thing about germs, but when … Continue reading
Happy New Year’s Eve Eve!
~~~ When I think about the fact that there’s only one more day left in 2014, I can’t help but wonder where the year has gone. It seems like only a few weeks since we were trudging through thigh-deep snow … Continue reading
Sometimes It Pays To Ignore Your Doctor
This probably isn’t a big deal for anyone who doesn’t live with hypothyroidism, but I’ve known for a couple of weeks that I’ve been feeling better. And I’ve known it was because of a new supplement I started around December … Continue reading
Cover Reveal Time!
With Ed being a police detective, I really wanted to come up with a clever way to announce his cover, but it’s been one of those weeks and ‘clever’ is just not happening tonight. Even so, I’m totally excited to … Continue reading
Ed’s Book Is Almost Here!!!
When I wrote The Daddy Pact, it was a standalone story. I’d planned to write Sam and Holly’s book too, but only as a grownup version of something I did when I was a teenager. They weren’t going to be … Continue reading
