My Book Progress
Steven34.9%Welcome!
Hi, I’m Kristy, lover of God, family, friends, good books, and yummy food. I’m also on a quest to get in the best shape of my life. As a clean and wholesome/Christian romance author, I spend much of my days sitting at a desk. And we all know that a sedentary lifestyle isn’t conducive to good health. So it’s time to change all that. To start counteracting the side effects of too little activity, hypothyroidism, and gluten intolerance. Yeah, It’s time to get busy because I plan on living to be a happy, healthy, and energetic centenarian. I also plan on writing a lot more books! 🙂

Dealing With a Judgmental Egomaniac
It all started because of a comment I left on this video… Well… The replacement video (mentioned below) was deleted too. ~~~ Technically, this isn’t the video. The one I actually commented on has been taken down, but I was … Continue reading
7 Things I Wish I’d Known as a Child
There are times when most of us wish we could wake up one day and find out that we’re ten years old again (in a perfect delusion, we’d also still know what we know today). Maybe it happens during a … Continue reading
Alas, Babylon
Given my career choice, it’s clear I’m a long-time romance lover. But sometimes, sometimes, I enjoy stories that don’t necessarily focus on happily-ever-afters. Take, for instance, the title in the subject line. At first glance, you might expect it to … Continue reading
The I.Q. of a Gnat
Photo credit: Morguefile.com Yeah. That was my I.Q. was a couple of weeks ago… It all started when I took a couple of new digestive enzymes. I’d been taking a similar product from the same company because sometimes dairy doesn’t … Continue reading
Paranoia or Common Sense, That is the Question
I get teased by a lot of family and friends over my love affair with hand sanitizer and disinfecting wet wipes for shopping cart handles. Very regularly, in fact. A breeding ground for germs. Photo credit: Morguefile.com Part of the … Continue reading
I’ve Been Keeping a BIG Secret
Once a man passes the age of forty, society tends to think of him as suave, sophisticated, successful, distinguished. Unless he’s the kind of guy who says things like, “Hey, y’all, watch this!” or “Hold my beer!” They tend to … Continue reading
Strange Injuries
Looking at a picture I snapped this afternoon, which I’ll share in just a moment, I was reminded of a few unusual injuries I’ve gotten through the years. The first of two weird things happened when I was about fifteen. … Continue reading
Sweater Weather
I’ve always called the months between October and April ‘sweater weather.’ And it’s my favorite ‘season’ because I LOVE sweaters. As long as they’re soft instead of itchy. Pullovers, cardigans. Doesn’t matter. If they feel right and I like the … Continue reading
Halfway to Oymyakon, Russia
Okay, so maybe I exaggerate a bit. Oymyakon, Russia is supposedly the coldest inhabited place in the world – according to Google anyway. With a -58 degree (F) temperature, I’d have to agree. But with a -13 temperature with a … Continue reading
Internet Etiquette
By now, everyone should know that I am not a member of the Grammar Nazi Club. I don’t care about typos. I don’t care if someone uses there instead of they’re. I don’t believe that how we spell, or whether … Continue reading
