My Book Progress
Steven34.9%Welcome!
Hi, I’m Kristy, lover of God, family, friends, good books, and yummy food. I’m also on a quest to get in the best shape of my life. As a clean and wholesome/Christian romance author, I spend much of my days sitting at a desk. And we all know that a sedentary lifestyle isn’t conducive to good health. So it’s time to change all that. To start counteracting the side effects of too little activity, hypothyroidism, and gluten intolerance. Yeah, It’s time to get busy because I plan on living to be a happy, healthy, and energetic centenarian. I also plan on writing a lot more books! 🙂

I’ve Been Keeping a BIG Secret
Once a man passes the age of forty, society tends to think of him as suave, sophisticated, successful, distinguished. Unless he’s the kind of guy who says things like, “Hey, y’all, watch this!” or “Hold my beer!” They tend to … Continue reading
Strange Injuries
Looking at a picture I snapped this afternoon, which I’ll share in just a moment, I was reminded of a few unusual injuries I’ve gotten through the years. The first of two weird things happened when I was about fifteen. … Continue reading
Sweater Weather
I’ve always called the months between October and April ‘sweater weather.’ And it’s my favorite ‘season’ because I LOVE sweaters. As long as they’re soft instead of itchy. Pullovers, cardigans. Doesn’t matter. If they feel right and I like the … Continue reading
Halfway to Oymyakon, Russia
Okay, so maybe I exaggerate a bit. Oymyakon, Russia is supposedly the coldest inhabited place in the world – according to Google anyway. With a -58 degree (F) temperature, I’d have to agree. But with a -13 temperature with a … Continue reading
Internet Etiquette
By now, everyone should know that I am not a member of the Grammar Nazi Club. I don’t care about typos. I don’t care if someone uses there instead of they’re. I don’t believe that how we spell, or whether … Continue reading
Just Because It’s Soooo Cute…
…I have to share it tonight. Because if I don’t, I’ll forget.
And Ignorance Abounds…
“When our idea of danger is eating gluten, there’s trouble afoot. Yes, we the people have gotten soft.” After reading what Jennifer Lawrence had to say about gluten back in October, that it’s the cool new eating disorder, I had … Continue reading
First Sleep, Second Sleep
Sounds like the beginning of a nursery rhyme, doesn’t it? Any panda is cute, but a sleeping panda is really cute! Okay, back on topic. According to an in-depth study by Roger Ekirch, an historian at Virgina Tech, first sleeps … Continue reading
Music to Motivate the Muse
If you’ve been following my blog for any length of time, you know that I love music … especially videos. And if you don’t, going back through my older posts will reveal that one song or another is featured in … Continue reading
One Great Way To Kill Your Relationship
Consideration is romantic. ~~~ Really. It is. It’s one of the reasons your Romeo or Juliet fell in love you with in the beginning. You showed him or her consideration and respect. You were thoughtful and considered your words and … Continue reading
