Hi, I’m Kristy, lover of God, family, friends, good books, and yummy food. I’m also on a quest to get in the best shape of my life. As a clean and wholesome/Christian romance author, I spend much of my days sitting at a desk. And we all know that a sedentary lifestyle isn’t conducive to good health. So it’s time to change all that. To start counteracting the side effects of too little activity, hypothyroidism, and gluten intolerance. Yeah, It’s time to get busy because I plan on living to be a happy, healthy, and energetic centenarian. I also plan on writing a lot more books! 🙂

A relative of mine got married today. Well actually it was yesterday, but I keep screwy hours and even if I don’t fall asleep until four in the morning, it won’t be yesterday to me until I wake up again. … Continue reading
I’m going to start today out with an apology…to anyone commenting on my blogs that hasn’t received a response from me. I love chatting with the people who take time out of their busy days to read my posts. Except … Continue reading
Being a mom is hard work. And some weeks are tougher than others. Especially as your kids get older. They’re ready to grow up, while moms aren’t always quite so ready. Which can cause a serious lack of sleep for … Continue reading

Sometimes the strangest questions plague me. Questions that can bug me indefinitely. Often I can’t even pinpoint what might have brought them to mind. Maybe a snippet of conversation I didn’t realize I overheard, or something I saw that didn’t … Continue reading
When I decided to devote Friday’s to other authors, it seemed simple enough. Except it turns out that it’s not. Last week I realize that I need to practice a little more because if I’m going to spotlight someone, I’d … Continue reading
Apparently a sick daughter equals a fairly productive night. So far this is my second blog, which I really shouldn’t be writing because it’s currently 4:08 a.m. Even though the fever is down, I guess the fact that it was … Continue reading
It’s probably a pretty fair assumption to say that most every girl in the world has seen, or read, romantic fairytales. Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White… I could list more, but you get the idea. Why are little girls (and … Continue reading
